Welcome to Experimental Psychology!
This site is designed to guide students of Experimental Psychology Lab PSYC 3450W (section MTDB 18197) navigate throughout the course in Spring 2026. Past and future students are also welcome to contribute to the site.
In this course, we are exploring how to design and conduct psychological experiments. We will also learn to critically review scientific literature, select appropriate analytical plans for your experimental designs, manage and analyze your data, and effectively communicate your findings.
This site is designed to navigate through the course– the syllabus, the schedule, and any course material will be posted here. Please take advantage of the resources shared here under the Resources tab, as I will be actively sharing and updating learning materials for Experimental Psychology. Under Schedule, week-by-week tasks and deliverables will be updated.
About Me

I’m Thomas Tong, a PhD student in cognitive and comparative psychology at the Graduate Center, CUNY. I teach undergraduate courses at Brooklyn College, alongside conducting research in Gao’s Psychophysiology Lab.
